Mountain Mandarin Festival
Our anchor project. Each year the week before Thanksgiving, the Mountain Mandarin Festival brings up to 35,000 visitors to The Grounds in Roseville to celebrate Placer County's mandarins. MOEF is proud to support it.

Student scholarships have long been part of the Foundary's community work. We offer $1,000 scholarships every year, typically awarding three to five. For eligibility and application details, please contact us.
Heritage education
Beyond the Festival, the Foundary preserves and shares the history of the mandarin orange in Placer County — through our heritage story and ongoing work to gather oral histories with community partners.
